Staying for 4 nights, we enjoyed the breathtaking views from our room, which provided a beautiful backdrop to our mornings. The walk to the beach and dining options was a pleasant 8-minute stroll, and we appreciated the hotel’s smaller size that kept it from feeling overcrowded. The breakfast was a delightful start to each day, especially with the freshly made espresso. We also loved exploring the nearby hiking trails, with stunning views of the coastline.

You haven't tasted poached eggs until you've had them here! The culinary experience upped the ante with excellently prepared snack meals in the evenings. Plus, the infinity pool views were a tranquil escape that matched the fine sea vista from our spacious balcony.
One night got a tad too toasty when the AC took a break due to a storm. A cheeky fan would have been a nice touch, but the beauty outside still made it all worthwhile.

The best and worst parts
I appreciated the hospitality of the staff, especially Jorge and Emma. Their recommendations for local restaurants were invaluable.
The steep climb back to the hotel from town was daunting, particularly for those without good mobility. It might not suit everyone, especially older guests.

The owners & staff made us feel as welcome as if we were visitng old friends. They were always on hand to ensure we had all the materials & suggestions we needed to enjoy each days activity. The owners had limited English but we got by with a mixture of Spanish, Catalan or French in which they were fluent. The staff all had perfect English. The rooms were spacious & beautifully presented. I would expect that they all have the same wonderful view. Breakfasts were standard continental fare & included bread, croissants, jam, cheese & Chorizo. Good selection of bars & restaurants a short 5 min walk away. I look forward to our return & have already recommended this hotel to all our friends.
If I had to criticise something, the furniture in the lounge was a little uncomfortable. A comfy sofa would have been great. I guess we were pretty unlucky with the wet weather otherwise we would have been outside.

We were made to feel so welcome and because the weather was so bad I was glad that we were staying there as it is like a home from home so we could still enjoy our holiday despite the bad weather

This was one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in. The owners could not have done more for us. Lovely position above the village, although a steep walk up. Good size rooms, good bathrooms and good sound insulation. Probably quiet, even in the high season. Will be even better when the pool is ready in a few weeks time. Free parking a bonus in this part of the world. Drawbacks - rather limited breakfast, which might be better in the high season and it is about an hour from the Gerona exit on the motorway.

The infinity pool offered fine views of the Mediterranean. Every morning's breakfast featured a good homemade specialty. I especially loved the cozy garden area, where I could unwind amidst beautifully maintained landscapes.

A well maintained property, simple and tasteful decor in a quiet yet central location with glorious views and a lovely pool. Attentive and welcoming staff.
Because of the location on a hillside might not suit elderly or mobility impaired, although the hotel itself has the usual wheelchair access, loos etc. No meals other than breakfast or snacks/pizzas etc offered - might consider expanding range of light meals available.

The views were fine, but that's about the only praise. A steep climb from the town, and not a single lunch option at the hotel! Just when i thought i might leave a glowing review, i realized i woudl ve been much happier with a complimentary bottle of champagne for my troubles. Very disappointing for a so-called luxury hotel.

Loved everything about the hotel and the location. Suite was superb; spacious and very comfortable. Staff always had a smile on their face and nothing was too much trouble for them. The grounds were well looked after and the pool was immaculate and beautiful. Even when full th hotel did not feel crowded and there were always sun loungers available. Setting very peaceful and never heard any noise from other rooms. All an absolute delight. The place to stay in Llafranc!
